Prerana - Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).

Quality is the buzz word today, for any Higher Education Institution to compete globally. The institution being in its process of applying for NAAC has an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) that constantly strives towards maintaining quality in every activity carried out at the institution.

Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC is a part of the institution’s system and work towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of institution.

The IQAC plays an importantly implicit role in all the activities of the institution, be it in administration or academics. The IQAC mandates innovative methods to be implemented in teaching to equip our students to become globally competent. Innovative methods such as experiential learning , peer learning, collaborative learning are adopted in teaching methodology to support participative learning strategies for students. It also promotes research culture among students with an equal emphasis on other co-curricular activities. The IQAC ensures that the campus is student friendly, and spares no efforts to promote quality consciousness among students. It strives to create a memorable journey for the students through their stay at the campus, extending support to students to bring out the best in them.

In all the IQAC ensures sustenance of quality in all the activities of the institution, bearing in mind the vision, mission and goal of the institutions to produce globally competent citizens with societal concerns.

To develop quality systems with conscious, reliable and transparent act for attaining best results for the academic and administrative performance of the institution and to set benchmarks for periodic evaluation for improvements, significant growth and achievements.

Mission

  • To establish student Learning-centric environment, using ICT tools for teaching and learning process and to inculcate value-based education system.
  • To encourage Departments to organize seminars, workshops, orientation and faculty development program.
  • To promote research culture among staff and students.
  • To assess the annual progress of departments and the Institution through timely reporting.
  • Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks.
  • Development of Institutional data base and documentation of the various activates leading to quality improvement.
  • To build association with stakeholders and to stir social responsibility.
